town crier is:
Singer/songwriter Sam Vendt, along with many collaborators and friends. I'm a Pastor at Crossway Church in Keene NH, and have been writing songs since I was 15. Some of them are even worth sharing! town crier is an attempt to share those songs with as many who will listen, be encouraged to worship Christ, and in turn, proclaim Christ too with their own singing/listening/sharing/writing

The musical style is a passionate blend of acoustic indie folk rock, with meditative and often confessional lyrics that attempt to hold nothing back, and put their full trust in the finished work of Christ (even if there's trouble along the way).
Since 2019, I've experienced a bit of a writing windfall, while also getting my bearings with recording and releasing songs. There are far more songs to record and release, and I show no signs of stopping the writing train. Come along for the ride, and even support future song releases with your contributions.
